Any participating gym must have a written, recognized and effective curriculum for each of the Foundation’s three scholarship Autism & Special Needs categories. The Foundation will review the gym’s curriculum and evaluate whether it will accomplish the Foundation’s goals. The Foundation wants to ensure that the participating gym offers the level of training, education and interaction necessary to improve the scholarship recipient’s fitness, cognitive ability, or gymnastics skills. The Foundation wants to ensure that all participating groups offer quality programs that improve fitness in a safe environment. To that end, all participating gyms must follow standards set by USA Gymnastics.

Motion Evolution

Based on the premise that people are made to move, Motion Evolution integrates physical literacy, nutrition education, brain-body science, personal best and play, making the program a complete wellness package. Just as we teach children the A-B-C’s as the building blocks for reading, Motion Evolution teaches the foundations of movement (tossing, jumping, kicking, inversions, balance, etc.), giving children a greater fitness level and increased confidence.
