Ann Hester earned an undergraduate degree in communications from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. She received a master’s degree in education from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. Her education degree had a focus in adult education and corporate training. Over the past 25 years, Ann has worked in marketing and corporate training.
Ann is married to Cornelius Morley and has 11 year old twins, Connor and Grace. Grace is in her 5th year on the Discover Gymnastics team. Grace has benefited so much from her time at the gym challenging herself physically and learning to be part of a team. Ann’s time at the gym exposed her to the great opportunities DFF was providing to kids with disabilities and weight issues. She wants to see the program grow so that more kids can reap the rewards that exercise provides.
Ann volunteers her time at her children’s’ schools and has been a Girl Scout leader for the past 5 years. In addition, she has volunteered developing school gardens and recycling programs for elementary schools.
Ann enjoys reading, movies, walking her dog, and pursuing different creative endeavors. She loves to travel and continues her quest to expose her children to many different cultures peoples in this country and abroad.
