Texas Classic 2015 Backdrop
The Texas Classic Gymnastics Invitational is a gymnastics meet held at the Galveston Island Convention Center. The Texas Classic attracts “compulsory level” gymnasts (young stars on the rise) from all over Texas, surrounding States such as Louisiana and Oklahoma, and Mexico. This year the meet will be on December 9th-11th. Competition begins on Friday afternoon and last until Sunday night. There are an average of 700-800 gymnasts, their families and friends in attendance. A portion of the proceeds goes to Discover Fitness. Volunteer positions are available for all 3 days during the meet.
